After the Premier, P.O.D. were invited to the after party where they hung out with some of the guests, including CAMERON DIAZ, JAMIE FOX, LAURYN HOLLY, JIM BROWN, MICKY ROURKE, TERRY BRADSHAW, FRED DURST of Limp Bizkit, THE BACKSTREET BOYS, and OLIVER STONE himself! be posted on P.O.D.'s web site soon *** The movie, which hits theaters on December 22nd, features TWO new P.O.D. songs in the movie and ONE on the Soundtrack. Today, P.O.D. re-arranged their touring schedule to meet with one of their Warriors who's been dying of muscular dystrophy (MD). His name is Angelo (Age 19) from New Mexico. Doctors have given him a few days to live. In fact, last weekend, he stopped being able to eat. P.O.D.'s tour manager wasn't sure that they would be able to re-route their bus in time to meet with him and make their commitments. Plus, they would have to go through great expense to change plans. But after discussing it with their management P.O.D. told him to go for it. Last night, P.O.D.'s Tour Manager was called and told that Angelo might not even make it through the night. Nonetheless, P.O.D. insisted that they try to see him. The P.O.D. bus rolled up to his parents house early in the morning and the members of P.O.D. went in to talk with him, pray for him, and even play a few acoustic songs for him... including a special version of "Southtown." We don't know what will happed with Angelo, but it's this kind of love and respect for their "Warriors" that makes P.O.D. and the Warrior movement so exciting to be a part of.
