Well this is going to be nice and long...I really hope you all read this and appreciate it :)

So it all started when we got the call from Cali saying that the boys would be shooting there first video and that an announcement would go out via email in a few days with a phone number and it would be a first call basis. The first 500 people to call would get invited to the shoot.

So I had 3 days warning to get everything together and change my oil and get my tires aligned :) So I set out on my 'Southtown' journey. I was going to drive from NM to the shoot. I am pretty sure no one else drove that far ahaha.

So I get to california, and am so excited about the shoot. Drive down to SD and get lost...:( we were suppose to be meeting at a church then driven to a secret location. I later found out since I am special I could of just driven straight to the location grrr but I didnt know because of the last minute thing. Any way finally got to the location, waited around seeing a bunch of people that I didnt know. But that were all P.O.D. fans!!! :D

So we get to the shoot, everyone is just chillin, in front of Wuvs house. I see a bunch of old family and friends that I hadnt seen in a few months so I went to say hey and catch up. See all the guys and the wives, and the kids.

Then everyone gathered round, to listen to instructions from Marcos Siega. We are told that we were to gather around the stage, the guys were going to perform and we were to 'go nuts' just like we would at a live show. So thats what we did. There were times where the song was played and we all went crazy. There were times where we would be moved to all one side and the camera would focus on only Traa. Or we would all move again and it focus on Wuv. What was different for us, was to know that they use an audio track because obviously the sound quality has to be the same as the cd. I guess I just figured that was dubbed in later or something. Any way we must of gone through the song like 30 times. It was hot, so hot. So we would take water breaks every 5 times or something.

Watching the people around us was fun too, everyone coming out of there houses just 'watching' us. No one would get too close even though everyone kept telling them come on come over ahaha. As the day was closing in, Marcos Siega would say ok lets do this again but this time just go off. So we would do it...and he would say again but this time get crazier then before. So we would do it ahaha.

There was a time when this one guy was trying to jump on everyone and he was almost making some of us fall, cause he was trying to get so crazy. In the video you can see me pushing him off of me. ahaha Its funny! We went through that whole ok one more time but 'go off even more' about 6 or 7 more times. Till finally we had enough shots. ahahaha At the time we were all like um how can we go off any more then we already are ahah. But now that I look back on the video oh my goodness I am glad we did.

At the end of the day they brought out a carne asad taco man, and him and his family cooked us up some grub. The camera kept cruising around as we all ate and talked with others and met other warriors. Which you can see in the video. After all the warriors went home, I stuck around and hung with the familia for a little while just catching up.

Now we waited for the video to come out....I was so impatient because I was actually there and wanted to see how it turned out. It was put up on some video site on the internet first, but I couldn't even tell. I thought I could see me but didnt really know.

The first time the video came on MTV during 120 minutes, I was so butterfly'ie that it was crazy. The minute I saw the boys walking on the beach and heard the first seconds of the song it was like aaaaaaahhhhhh. Then the video kept going and I loved it, the intensness of the video the energy from the guys and the fans. Seeing it all pieced together was just so exciting. Then I saw myself, ahhhh, everyone in the house screams, then see myself again this time a close up, then everyone in the house screams again. ahahaha I love that video, not just cause I am in it ahahah but because of the memory of being a part of it. The whole experiance you know. :D Yeap great video.

Oh and after Southtown there was this sudden onslaught of videos with 'fans' surrounding the bands...like people realized how dope it looked or something. ahaha

yeah...fun times...hope you guys enjoyed my extra long post of my Southtown Experiance!! now peep the pics...
